Three years ago, I accompanied my sister who was purchasing a vehicle at Capitol Volkswagen. As I waited for her to complete the paperwork, the sales manager approached me & inquired if I was interested in making a purchase as well. At the time, I wasn’t financially prepared to do so. I explained that I was currently under a lease with 7 months remaining & expressed my concerns about the car being over the contracted mileage limit. The sales manager offered to look up my lease information and before long, I was offered a great deal to lease a brand new car with no money down and a similar monthly payment. The friendly service of the sales team not only impressed me, but they were generally interested in being of assistance. Yesterday, I was able to obtain financing to purchase that vehicle with the assistance of concierge, Uwana Udofia, who worked tirelessly on my behalf. The level of service that I received from the sales and finance team at Capitol VW has been by far the best experience that I’ve ever had when purchasing a vehicle. I hate car salesman and car dealerships! But, this experience was tolerable. The low pressure sales was nice, Darius was very laid back and knew all the details about various Subaru models. I feel I got a reasonable deal on a Crosstrek, and the manager, Derek, offered to repaint a small blemish before I took over. One slight negative was Derek stating he was offering a “firm handshake and a full tank.” Alas, the car had 1/4 tank at pickup, but all in all, not a bad experience.

Good service

The Service department at Capitol Kia is one of the best and I have used them for 2.5 years for my EV. What set them apart is the Service Advisors who are helpful and knowledgeable. Give them a try if you are looking for a place to service your vehicles.

The person who helped me was strange. I explained that my brakes were squeaky and he essentially said that is just how Kia Telluride breaks are and they can't do anything. I got a text my car was done and then when I got there it was 30-40 more minutes to complete the work.

Typically, the only thing worse than a car salesperson is a used car salesperson. This was the only dealership we visited, as they had the car we wanted, and were pleasantly surprised by the buying experience at Capitol Kia. Again, not having any other frame of reference, we would definitely recommend visiting Capitol Kia.
